Lifestyle Resolutions – Keep It Simple

on December 29, 2013

The New Year is a few days away.  How many of you will be making resolutions to eat better, to cut out the alcohol, to cut out the sweets, to start a rigorous exercise routine? Now, it’s time to put your thoughts into action! Start SIMPLE with exercise routines and with meal plans.

Keep your exercise routine simple and achievable when  first starting out. Pick the amount of days in a week you will dedicate to exercising and stick to it.  Start with 20-30 minutes of cardio on a machine of your choice, along with weight training for the other 30 minutes.  If tight on time, combine cardio and weight training all in one. You can have a power packed workout in only 30 minutes!

Another suggestion, eliminate one food that is not healthy from your lifestyle.  For example, take out foods made with white flour.  Watch how quickly those pesky pounds come off when eliminating white flour foods….

Here’s why!

The white powder which is what remains after the refining and milling process, is bleached with a deadly chemical called “alloxan”, a bleaching agent similar to Clorox. This chemical destroys the insulin producing cells of the pancreas, which directly causes type 2 diabetes or insulin dependent diabetes.

Finally, some coal-tar derived (carcinogenic) vitamins are added and sold to the public as “enriched”.  White flour makes your blood sugar rise almost as much as white refined sugar.

Additionally, studies have shown that wheat is contaminated with mycotoxin. This germ can be lethal and has been reported to cause rheumatoid arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, miscarriages, headaches, infertility, and even delayed childhood growth.

Making food products with white refined flour, with white refined sugar or high fructose corn syrup and high heat baking, creates the perfect internal environment in the body for the Degenerative diseases like Heart Disease, Diabetes and Cancer.

Both white flour and white refined sugar cause rapid and persistent increases in blood sugar making every cell in the body more likely to Deteriorate.
