2 Year Old, Luna’s Dinner

You know by now that I feed my daughter the healthiest I possibly can.  Trying to train her taste buds for the better and instill a healthy lifestyle.  Tonights dinner was navy beans with fresh grated ginger, tomatoes and chicken broth; sautéed swiss chard with garlic and olive oil; and steamed quinoa that took on the flavor of the beans and chard.

This value packed dinner gave Luna a huge amount of folate & magnesium, potassium, dietary fiber, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, phosphorus, antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamin K, vitamin C, B complex vitamins, vitamin E, vitamin A, all of the essential amino acids, and protein.  Not bad for one meal!

Remember, there’s healthy options out there for you and yours.  Think ahead, plan ahead, anyone can live a healthy lifestyle. No excuses!
