Luna’s Tortilla Rollup Up

It’s challenging keeping up with a two year old who has a bottomless pit for a stomach!  This snack was actually an extension of her lunch that was a full meal and then some! Hey, I’m glad she’s a healthy eater that tries anything rather than a picky little thing!

This snack is super basic!  I love everything Ezekiel – Bread, Tortilla’s, Muffins, Cereal… It’s Sprouted breads that are found in your health food store’s freezer and should be kept in your fridge or freezer.  Ingredients include Organic Sprouted Wheat, Filtered Water, Organic Sesame Seeds, Organic Sprouted Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Barley, Organic Sprouted Millet, Organic Sprouted Lentils, Organic Sprouted Spelt, Sea Salt.

 This particular snack, I used the Ezekiel Tortilla and cut it into four sections.  If I am making bites, I cut tortilla into 2 inch pieces.  I use avocado as someone would use mayo (yuck), place a fresh slice of off-the-bone real turkey or Applegate Organic roasted turkey, place a quarter slice of Applegate Organic cheese (I get the pre packaged if I can’t find it at health food store deli), wrap into a roll or inchworm as Luna calls it.  The snack bites I only used avocado smeared on tortilla with turkey.  Either way, it’s healthy and light! You can use any healthy combination of items.  Be creative, it’s fun!

PS. I couldn’t get a clearer picture of the roll up because Luna wanted to eat and was getting angry! Gotta feed the beast 😉
