No Time To Cook From Scratch – Try This

Sometimes, I just don’t have time to cook everything from fresh produce and turn to my freezer. This organic product by Engine 2 and Plant Strong blend of quinoa, red lentils, brown rice, faro and black barley, is my have on hand in the freezer just in case product.  It combines a good source of protein, complex carbs and fiber.  

What I do: I add 1 cup of this blend to a small pot. I then pour in organic chicken broth from Pacific, just enough so everything is submerged.  I add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of organic onion powder.  Let simmer for about 7 minutes.  That’s it!  

I use this as part of Luna’s dinner or lunch, mainly as a carbohydrate.  

Keep it simple, keep it healthy!
