What’s in My Grocery Bag Today?

Everyday, I am at the grocery store for one thing or another- especially, fresh produce.  My homes away from home are Mrs. Greens, Whole Foods, and sometimes Trader Joe’s.  Today, I picked up a few snack items to have on hand for Luna and me.

My take home items:

-Brad’s Raw Sweet Potato Chips

-Brad’s Raw Crunchy Kale

-Go Raw macadamia nuts

-Eden Organic navy beans

-365 Organic garbanzo beans

-Local organic multicolored tomatoes

-Local organic green leaf lettuce

-BluePrint orange, grapefruit, lemon juice

-Mama Chia blackberry hibiscus and raspberry passion

-Organic yams

 -Little Bucks organic blueberries (local)

 

It’s VERY easy to make excuses that there is nothing healthy in the house.  This is why it’s important to think ahead to stock up up on healthy, clean foods and keep the processed foods out of the house.  Try to keep some grab and go items, foods that can be thrown together for a snack or meal, fruits, nuts and veggies.  It’s a simple concept and it works! 

Keep it simple, keep it healthy!
