Tired of Post Workout Shakes!? Try Egg White Puffs

It’s important to eat the right proportion of proteins, carbs and low fat ratio after a workout or your muscles will not gain the benefit from your workout – they may actually become catabolic!  Today, instead of a freezing cold protein shake with strawberries and blueberries, I had an egg white puffer.  Delicious and easy to make.

 

Ingredients all organic:

5 egg whites

1 tablespoon of rolled oats or oat bran

Organic raw agave *use as much or as little as you like*

Coconut oil

Cinnamon *use as much or as little as you like*

 

Directions:

Preheat oven 350 F

 

Place egg whites in a bowl and whisk until its fluffy with peaks.

Place in a baking tray or aluminum tray lightly greased with coconut oil

Sprinkle rolled oats or oat bran over the top and cinnamon 

Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown

Drizzle agave over top

 

Eat this hot or cold!

Enjoy!
